At Vintage Porch Swings, our team is constantly working to improve our products to meet the needs of our customers. Recently founder and owner, Brent McHenry, has delved into his metal work experience and embarked on a project to develop wrought iron hanging pieces as an upgrade to the standard 1” rope. The typical package will include eight 3.5 foot wrought iron pieces with “shepherd staff” endings on both sides that articulate the swing to short chain link section arranged at the top for fine tuning.
Here you can see the linkage close up.
“I always want to test and refine the product before making it available to the public, and I am very pleased with these,” says McHenry. And as the team works with these pieces the strength and quality of the produce is clear. But more than that, the appeal of how they look is great. Below we show an Avari swing built with Cyprus wood displaying the new feature. And one other little benefit of utilizing this sturdy linkage, the installation becomes even easier devoid knots.
