The Jerry is a stationary take on one of the most popular Vintage Porch Swings bed swing designs, The Joshua. The Jerry daybed can be built from a Petite size (approximately 60" x 31") to a Full size (approximately 81" x 58") but comes standard with lower sides and a higher back approximately 25” and 30" tall, respectively. The variation of horizontal and vertical board directions on this design appeal to either a classical or contemporary look. The Jerry was created for customers who have a limited area and/or cannot install bolts in their ceiling. (No need to choose a rope option - we won't send any with this product.)

Since all of our swings/beds are made from specially-treated and dried ground-contact lumber, then sealed with a marine use clear satin sealant over the hand-applied finish, there is no maintenance involved. You can leave your swing outdoors in normal weather year-round, with cushions in place. (Hurricanes and blizzards are the exceptions.) There's no need for covers or sun-protection or cleaning chemicals. Just a quick dusting with a cloth and a quick machine-wash/air-dry of the Sunbrella covers on the cushions is all that is needed. We are the number 1 bed swing company in North America for a reason!

White-based finishes

Solid White, Vintage White and Beachwood finishes undergo a double-primer process and are finished with a marine-use, clear satin topcoat which may fade the brightness of the white very slightly over time or under prolonged exposure to sunlight or high temperatures. We still recommend the topcoat for preservation of the finish.
