Where to Try a Vintage Porch Swing Hanging Bed Swing
People always say the same thing when they get in a hanging bed swing for the first time: They had no idea how comfortable and relaxing it would be. A bed swing doesn’t feel anything like a hammock – there’s no weird curvature of the spine and there’s no swinging back and forth motion. It feels more like floating. But we don’t want you to take our word for it, there are a few places around Charleston where you can try one for yourself.
The Andell Inn – Kiawah
The Andell Inn has a beautiful Hayden swing just outside their lobby. Stop by and give it a try. You’ll find them at 300 Farm Lake View Rd, Kiawah Island, SC in the Freshfields Village.
The Fat Hen – John’s Island
One of our favorite restaurants, The Fat Hen, has a Eliza on their patio. Go have dinner and climb in – all in the name of research, of course.
Vintage Porch Swings Workshop – John’s Island
If you’re in the area, we’d love for you to stop by our workshop any time during business hours. You don’t need an appointment, just pop in! You’ll find us at 3547 Meeks Farm Road, Unit A-1 John’s Island, SC.
We’ll show you what we’re working on, and you can lounge in our shop swing as long as you like. If you don’t know our story, we’ll give you a first-hand account of the incredible family behind Vintage Porch Swings. We believe that our intention, as well as our dedicated staff, are the reason we’ve been featured in Coastal Living, Charleston Style & Design, HGTV, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living, Charleston Home and Design, Indulge, My Charleston, Post and Courier, Home Improvement, Time Warner Cable and FOX NEWS Atlanta.
Come see for yourself anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday.
