A Friendly Hangout

Don Semmler, CEO of Andell Inn on Kiawah Island recently ordered and installed Hayden and Eliza Swings and complimentary textiles from Vintage Porch Swings in his boutique hotel. Don says the bed swings are a hit with guests. “Sometimes I can see people trying to figure out how late they can stay in the swings - or if they can sleep in the swings instead of in their rooms,” he laughs. “I think there’s something nostalgic about them,” he says. “It reminds us of a time when there was more freedom and no worries.” Don also believes the swings have a way of bringing people together. “They’re just so comfortable, I think the movement helps people relax and be authentic. People in the swings share with each other in ways they normally wouldn’t. I’m expecting at least one marriage story out of those swings”, he says... Read the full article by clicking here.
